Obama’s Deal with Big Pharm

Published by Z at 5:25 pm under The Z Spot Edit This

This article is old, but very important.

Obama may have barred lobbyists from working in his administration, but he certainly didn’t bar them from working on the administration.

Big Pharm cut a deal, and is now spending $150 million on advertising in support of health care reform, most of it through a firm which David Axelrod consults for, and his son works for. In return, Obama is continuing a policy from the reign of the “evil” Bush which essentially keeps America buying drugs at the prices set by pharmaceutical companies.

Great. Change we can believe in.
