More Obama Hypocrisy: Health Care Taxes

Published by Z at 12:46 am under The Z Spot Edit This

Obama promised that there would be no tax hikes for anyone making less than $250K/year, in any way, shape or form.

He also specifically spoke up against taxing employer-provided health benefits.

Now, the Dems are pushing to do just that. Tax employer-provided health insurance. Who, exactly, does this hurt? The middle class. The same people that Obama has promised not to increase taxes for. Why punish people for a) working, and b) being insured, when the problem is that we have so many people with no jobs and no insurance?

I agree. Obama the candidate and Obama the President are two completely different animals! Seems he wants it both ways, he made fun of McCain about taxing health benefits and now that it serves his agenda, he embraces the idea.
